Ponce Inlet Police Department (Florida)

(Ponce Inlet, F.L.) – On a recent trip to Florida, members of the SCPoliceCruisers team had the opportunity to photograph a very sharp Ford Utility from the Ponce Inlet Police Department. Ponce Inlet is a beach community south of Daytona Beach located within Volusia County. The community is home to the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse, which is one of the tallest working lighthouses in the United States.

Under the leadership of Chief Fabrizio, the agency underwent a major graphics overhaul for their newly acquired fleet of Ford Utility Police Pursuit Vehicles. The design, which was created by Southern Custom Creations, proudly features the lighthouse a long with a prominent image of waves over a thin blue line. This is one of the more unique designs we’ve seen across the country, and is surely one that is sure to help promote the department’s proactive community oriented policing initiatives.
