West Buechel Police Department (Kentucky)

(West Buechel, Kentucky) – Members of the SCPoliceCruisers team recently had the opportunity to visit the Bluegrass State and photograph the West Buechel Police Department. The City of West Buechel is a small community located about 15 minutes East from the Louisville Metro area. The agency itself boasts about 11 full-time officers and 2 K-9 units that operate a mix of vehicles including the Chevrolet Caprice, Chevrolet Tahoe, Dodge Charger and Dodge Durango. On our particular visit, we were able to coordinate with the agency to photograph a 2013 Dodge Charger that prominently displays the agency’s unique custom metallic teal paint with a striking black and gold graphics package.

The cruiser itself features a slicktop package that includes a mix of Red and Blue HG2 Emergency Lighting and Whelen products to provide 360 degree warning. West Buechel is currently phasing this design out in favor of newly acquired black cruisers featuring a more traditional gray graphics package.
